I'm Anna Darcy, a bespoke dressmaker specialising in one of a kind wedding gowns, designed and handcrafted for brides who want something entirely their own.

Alongside my bespoke work I also work as an alteration specialist for a bridal boutique. This allows me to take on only a small number of bespoke brides each year. Limiting my workload ensures that every gown- every bride- receives the time, attention and care that they deserve.

 

Some non-dressmaking facts about me:

 

I live with my husband, our two kids, a dog and four chickens. I'm originally from Sweden but have lived in Ireland for many years, most of them in Dublin but in 2022 we upped sticks and moved to Navan.

 

 I love gardening and could happily spend all day at it.

When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually redecorating,  unapologetically trying to make a house built in 2000 feel unmistakably Victorian.

I'll watch anything that has "period" in the description but avoid anything with "dystopian".

 

I can't stand "the big light".

Lately I exclusively listen to true crime podcasts when working or when I'm alone in the car. I love pretty much all food but will always go for a seafood pasta if it's on the menu.
